Here you will find information on all the characters you will encounter in the town of Tristram. Some useful otherss just plain useless.
The Fighter - This guy kicks ass in melee combat. If he gets near something, consider it dead. Get's lots of hit points, but very little magic. Naturally quick in melee combat, but slow at casting spells.
The Rogue - She's unstoppable with a bow. She can fire it so fast, that there's no way to recover. Naturally quick with a bow. So-so in melee combat and can cast spells at a moderate rate.
The Sorcerer - This character is pure magic. If you get hit with one of his attacks it's gonna hurt! Naturally has the fastest attack with just a shield. Extremely quick at casting spells, but very few hit points.
Adria the Witch - Everyone's best friend! Quite possibly the most visited character in the game. Adria sells everything from potions, to elixers, spell books and scrolls to magical staffs.
Cain the Elder - Just about everyone's best friend! He is able t indentify all those magic items you find in the dungeon for the price of 100 gold.
Farnham the Drunk - Sank into depression after following Lazarus into the dungeon. Funny to talk to, but just helps the story line.
Gillian the Barmaid - She serves no purpose except to help the storyline.
Griswold the Blacksmith - One of the more useful people in town. Here you can buy or sell the lastest weapons and armor. Whether the be magical or not. He buys everything for one fourth it's selling cost.
Ogden the Tavern Owner - He owns the local tavern and according to Farnam, "Ogden mixes a mean black mushroom." He serves no purpose except to help the story line along.
Pepin the Healer - Tristrams local healer. If you're ever injured just go up to him and ask to receive healing. It's free so why not? That's about the only use for him: to get healed and buy resurrection scrolls.
Wirt the Peg-Legged Boy - The little runt lost his leg when the town people went into the church to save the King's son. He sells only magic items. Some good, some really bad. But everything is at an inflated price. He will never sell rings or amulets.
